Spring Break Camp - War Games

Tabletop War Game Spring Break Camp is a fast-paced, miniatures-focused program where students dive into the world of strategy gaming with Heroscape in a fun, social environment. Designed for ages 12–16, it blends casual play, light tactics, and community-building in a safe, supervised local game store setting.

Camp overview:

• Date: Wednesday, March 11th
• Time: 9:00am–11:30am
• Location: Tier 1 Cards & Games (1921 W. Dimond Blvd)
• Students will explore the Heroscape tabletop war game, learning how to build battlefields, assemble armies, and play through scenario-based skirmishes.
• Emphasis is on fun, low-pressure play and meeting other students who love strategy and tabletop games.

• Builds strategic thinking, spatial awareness, and planning through movement, positioning, and scenario objectives.

• Provides a welcoming space for students to share interests, make new friends, and gain confidence in a hobby-friendly environment.

• Suitable for both beginners and experienced players; staff will teach rules, answer questions, and help match players by experience level.

What to bring:

• A sport top or straw-style water bottle.

• Tier 1 will provide all miniatures, terrain, dice, and other items necessary for play.
