Warlord: Draft Event - Monday, April 20

Come battle for glory at Tier 1 Cards and Games as we run a Warlord: Saga of the Storm draft event! Whether you played years ago or just heard about the game, this is the perfect entry point.

Warlord is easy to pick up, and if you've played D&D, you're already halfway there: The game uses D20 mechanics, so it feels instantly familiar. (And who doesn't love to roll a D20?)

Experience players will be at Tier 1 at 4:00 pm for anyone who wants to learn the game or brush up before the draft, to teach and answer questions. Not required, but if you're brand new, we recommend arriving at least by 5:30 so we can show you the ropes before things kick off.

At 5:45, we'll walk everyone through the drafting rules, with the draft itself starting at 6:00 pm. This is the fun part! Everyone tears into booster packs and builds a deck on the spot, choosing cards one at a time. After that, we'll run a casual round-robin tournament where you put your freshly built deck to the test.

Drafting is one of the best ways to experience Warlord. It levels the playing field, and you walk away with a stack of cards to start your collection. Not only will you walk away with the boosters you purchased for the draft, but each player will receive a Warlord starter deck at the end of the event! 

So bring a friend, bring your competitive streak, and prepare for battle.
